Worcester this Friday

We’ll be playing at Ralph’s Diner on Friday with our buds Guillermo Sexo.  First time playing there, too. Should be good.

Northern Neighbors

We’ll be in Portland tonight, opening for the Pete Kilpatrick Band at their album release show.  See you in a few, Maine.

Sinnet EP Release on Saturday

We’re playing at Middle East Upstairs this Saturday, where Sinnet will be releasing his “Midwest Manners” (hopefully some of it sticks). The first 50 through the door get a free copy.  We’ve got a few other shows coming up, too, so check out our SHOWS page.

Fujiyah, Miyagi, Fujiya, Miyagi ….

Had the pleasure of meeting these fellows last night when we opened for them at Great Scott.  What a class act.  They closed with an extended version of Ankle Injuries that was pretty much a religious experience.  Lulled the audience into a trance with that hypnotic bass line and then WHAM! Took off like a rocket ship.  I have a feeling I’m gonna be listening to a lot of Krautrock this month.

Catching Up

For the last few months, we’ve been fixing up the Napoleon Complex (our rehearsal/recording space).  Now it makes the long hours there a little more comfortable, and it sounds a hell of a lot better to boot. Which is a good thing because we also started recording about two weeks ago.  So far, so good.

New Website Day!

So we finally got around to making our own website.  Hopefully this will be an easier way to find out about shows and other Pyramids-related activities.  Enjoy!
